Sessions
Circle Sessions are held at Sister Circles ROC,
1350 Buffalo Road in Rochester, NY, or virtually via
Zoom Teleconferencing.
Circles sessions are held 2-3 times monthly. Each circle session is limited to 7-10 participants, first come first serve. Fees typically range from $10 - $35 per participant. Activity circle session fees may be higher depending on the activity. Registration is required.
Black women ages 18 and up, and Black girls ages 13-16 are welcome!
Support and community.
Sister Circles are safe, intimate spaces for Black Women and Girls to connect and share their life experiences with other Black Women and Girls.
Sister Circles are about supportive relationships in an environment where Black Women and Girls can laugh, cry, and share information, resources and life.

MANIFEST AFFIRM GATHER INSPIRE CONNECT
Sister Circles ROC promotes the practice of M.A.G.I.C. (Manifesting, Affirming, Gathering, Inspiring and Connecting) for ourselves and with one another. In our circle sessions, we focus individually and collectively on self-love, growth and healing, as well as our shared experiences, sisterhood and connection.
Sister Circles ROC invites you into our safe space. A space that encourages you rest in yourself, be at peace with yourself, and be at one with your authentic self. Our circle sessions are designed for you to come as you are, whenever you can, for a time of support and connection as we pause to pour into ourselves and each other.

OPEN SISTER CIRCLE
Open circles are open to all participants to join. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis and participants are not asked to attend all circles.
Circle topics will vary. Circles sessions are confidential and typically last 2 hours. In-person open circle sessions are held twice a month. Virtual open circles are held monthly.

CLOSED SISTER CIRCLE
Closed circles are limited to participants who begin the sessions together. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis and participants are encouraged to attend all circles as new participants cannot join.
Circle topics are specific to circle participants. Circles sessions are confidential and typically last 2 hours. In-person closed circles are held monthly. Virtual closed circles are held monthly.

ACTIVITY SISTER CIRCLE
Activity circles are open to all participants to join. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis and participants are not asked to attend all circles.
Circle activities (meditation, yoga, Sip & Paint, Yoni Steam, etc,) will vary. Activity circles sessions are in-person and typically last 2 hours.

PRIVATE SISTER CIRCLE
Private circles are limited to invite-only participants who are selected by the host of the private circle.
Circle topics are selected by circle host. Private circle sessions are confidential and typically last 2 hours. Private circle sessions are available in-person and virtual, and held as hosted.

LITTLE SISTER CIRCLE
Little Sister circles are open to all youth participants ages 13-16 to join. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis and participants are not asked to attend all circles.
Circle topics will vary. Circles sessions are confidential and typically last 2 hours. Little Sister circles are held monthly.

BLACK LADY THERAPIST CIRCLE
The Black Lady Therapist Circle is dedicated to networking and encouraging the connection between Black women who work as psychotherapists.
Open to all Black women social workers, counselors and therapists regardless of experience or field of practice, this in-person circle is designed to come as you are, whenever you can, for a time of support and connection as we pause to pour into our clinical selves and each other.

Circle topics will vary. Circles sessions are confidential and typically last 2 hours. In-person Black Lady Therapist circle sessions are held monthly. Virtual Black Lady Therapist circle sessions will occur as scheduled.

BEAUTY for ASHES CIRCLE
A tribute to the promise of "beauty for ashes", the Beauty for Ashes Circle is a safe space to give and receive support and encouragement around issues such as trauma, grief and loss and chronic illness.
Open to all Black women, this in-person circle is designed to come whenever you can, and promotes healing, sisterhood and a sense of community. This circle is not a replacement for therapy or other trauma work.
